Job Description

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the Minova Team at our new, state-of-the-art facility in Tooele, Utah . This is a full-time, direct hire position.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems (motors, controls, sensors, PLCs) and support mechanical subsystems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with electrical safety and regulatory standards.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Support equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maximize equipment efficiency, reduce downtime, and manage spare parts for electrical systems.
  • Follow SH&E procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively across shifts and departments, train peers on electrical systems and safety practices.
  • Actively contribute to team goals, quality standards, and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical or industrial maintenance preferred .
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC systems, motor controls, electrical diagnostics, and low/high voltage systems.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills are a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and safety programs.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Pay: Based on experience + Full Benefits.
