Job Description

This role will work closely with senior finance leadership and support key accounting functions including month-end close, financial reporting, and audit preparation. The position offers strong visibility and is ideal for a Senior Accountant or strong Staff Accountant ready to step into a senior role.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
• Assist with monthly financial statement preparation
• Support the year-end audit process
• Work closely with AP and AR teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis
• Reconcile payroll-related entries
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc analysis
• Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 3–6+ years of accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs required)
• Experience with Great Plains is a plus
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities
