Java Web Developer — Dallas, Texas (Full-Time)

We are seeking a skilled Java Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Java backend development, modern web frameworks, and collaborative delivery in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Java and related technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
• Design and implement scalable backend services and RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver features.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications while optimizing performance and security.
• Integrate third-party services and work with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Follow Agile/Scrum development practices and contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Java web application development with strong object-oriented programming skills.
• Proven experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, REST APIs, and microservices concepts.
• Hands-on experience with front-end basics: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with React or Angular is a plus.
• Experience with version control and build tools: Git, Maven; CI/CD experience with Jenkins or similar tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving, communication skills, and experience working in Agile teams.

• Databases & Tools: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Git, Maven, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines
• Frontend & Cloud: HTML, CSS, JavaScript; familiarity with React/Angular and AWS/Azure
• DevOps & Containers: Docker, Kubernetes (preferred)
