Job Description and Duties

Under direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst I/II is responsible for performing duties related to the Departments Fleet Management Program, and State Fleet Card Program as the DCA Coordinator. As the DCA Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for the daily management and oversight of these DCA programs.

Working Conditions

Candidates who reside outside of the State of California may be admitted to the job interview. However, they must reside in the State of California once they are hired and start working.

Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee's monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of PLP 2025 on the first day of each pay period as outlined on "Section 2113 - Personal Leave Program (PLP)" of the CalHR Manual. The salary range(s) included on this job posting do not reflect the reduction in pay.

Special Requirements

This position is subject to Title 16, section 3830 of the California Code of Regulations, the Department of Consumer Affairs’ Conflict of Interest (COI) Regulations. The incumbent is required to submit a Statement of Economic Interests (Form 700) within 30 days of assuming office, annually by April 1st, and within 30 days of leaving office.

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs.

SUPPLEMENTAL QUESTIONNAIRE REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this position, you must submit your application and a completed Supplemental Questionnaire (SQ) answering the prompts below. Please include all relevant experience for each of the required questions below and explain your answers thoroughly. Responses should be no longer than one page in length, with no less than twelve-point font. Your answers must be formatted as outlined below.

Your Supplemental Questionnaire must address the following:

1) Describe your experience working with multiple competing demands/projects with limited time frames to complete your tasks. Please describe what you did and how you ensured you finished all tasks on time.

2) Describe your experience working with various state control agencies, vendors, contractors and clients.

3) Describe your experience working in State Fleet Asset Management.

This information will be used in conjunction with the interview to assist the interview panel in determining the most qualified candidate for the Analyst II position. A resume and/or cover letter will not be substituted for the SQ.
