The Communications Specialist is responsible for executing The Planning Perspectives Podcast from concept to completion. This includes generating and refining ideas for episodes, supporting the development of scripts, coordinating guests, and overseeing vendors for the recording, editing, and distribution processes.

In addition, the role contributes to the writing process for thought leadership content, newsletters, webinars, and other digital communications, and monitors media coverage to produce clear, actionable reports for leadership. Success in the role requires strong writing skills, close attention to detail, and a shared commitment to clarity, data-driven insights, and continuous improvement. The role is based primarily in our Philadelphia office to enable close collaboration with the team.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan, launch, and manage episodes for The Planning Perspectives Podcast including ideation, scripting support, guest coordination, recording, editing, and distribution strategy.
  • Partner with the Social Media Manager to help execute video content strategies aimed at increasing viewership, reach, impressions, and engagement across social, web, and video platforms.
  • Coordinate agency and stakeholder relationships to ensure smooth recording sessions and timely episode launches.
  • Write and edit thought leadership materials across the Company's lines of businesses.
  • Support content for monthly newsletters, webinars, and other forms of digital communication.
  • Manage media monitoring platforms for news coverage and create weekly media reports.
  • Assist with additional external communications priorities with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Responsible for maintaining current knowledge and adhering to all bank policies and procedures, within the scope of their job, to ensure compliance.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' related work experience, including at least one year in corporate communications or agency, is preferred.
  • Experience within financial services, wealth management, highly regulated industries or partnering with compliance and legal teams is preferred.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage details across multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrate experience in communications, podcasts, video, or digital communication strategies.
  • Demonstrate ability to translate complex or technical topics into compelling, audience-friendly content.

Salary Range:
$64,491.00 - $105,949.50

Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate's experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
