Part-time to full-time | Evenings + Events | $20 - $25 + tips
If you've spent time in catering, private clubs, or hotel bars and want something with more personality — this might be it. We're a members-only founder and entrepreneur community attached to a working glassblowing hot shop. Our events range from intimate wine-and-conversation evenings to panels with 80 people. You'd be the person who holds it together when the night gets unpredictable.
THE ENVIRONMENT
Our members are founders, investors, and connectors — intellectually serious, and generally low-maintenance. They appreciate quality and notice when hospitality is thoughtful. They don't need to be impressed, but they do need to feel taken care of. The building also features a working glass studio and gallery, which means the space itself is unlike anywhere else you've worked.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Bartend member events, private buyouts, and public evenings — wine, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options
- Set up and break down event spaces — you notice what the room needs before anyone asks
- Serve as the primary hospitality presence
- Run occasional morning shifts and support café operations as needed
- Manage bar inventory, restock, and communicate supply needs
- Represent the club's standards to members and their guests at all times
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Solid bar skills — not just pouring beer, but making a proper drink for a discerning guest
- Event experience — catering, private dining, venue work, or hotel F&B preferred
- Comfortable being the only staff member in the room and making good calls independently
- Warm, professional, and socially fluent across a wide range of people
- Flexible availability — evenings and weekends are where the work lives
BONUS IF YOU HAVE
- TIPS or ServSafe certification
- Some barista experience — we roast our own coffee and take it seriously
- Genuine interest in entrepreneurship, startups, or the arts
